The venue itself held deep significance for Nicole. Having spent so much time growing up at the club, other milestone moments there, it was a second home for her family and a place that represented belonging and community. Hosting her wedding there felt like a full-circle moment, a celebration not just of love, but of legacy and connection.

The design captured the essence of Events by Genevieve’s signature style: romantic, lush, and sophisticated. Shades of pink and blush anchored the palette, creating a soft, European garden atmosphere within the elegant country club setting. Emerald City Flowers brought this vision to life with cascading floral runners that flowed to the floor and an encompassing floral installation for the custom ceremony stage. Every floral arrangement felt alive and intentional, complementing the architecture and surrounding landscape of the golf course.

No detail was overlooked, especially in the paper. The custom stationery suite, designed by Blanche Heirloom out of Toronto, Canada, was a standout element. Crafted from sculpted, letterpressed paper with embossed and debossed details, the menus and invitations introduced guests to the tone of the day, elevated, textural, and unforgettable. Their tactile beauty mirrored the layered approach to the overall design, where every surface, color, and finish told a story.

Throughout the evening, thoughtful surprises and personal touches added depth to the experience. During the first dance, Patryk arranged a secret display of cold sparkler cannons, provided by Insaiyan Entertainment, for his bride, creating a cinematic moment that brought the room to life. Later, Nicole’s family surprised him with a choreographed dance, all wearing matching Adidas tracksuits, a lighthearted nod to his Polish roots that had every guest smiling.

Cultural traditions wove seamlessly into the luxury design of their reception. Guests enjoyed a lively accordion player performing Polish classics, while the warmth of Nicole’s Persian heritage came through in the hospitality, abundance, use of elaborate textiles, and celebration of family. Dinner, catered by Tacoma Golf and Country Club, held special meaning: it was the same kitchen that had long been part of Nicole’s life.

Adding to the sense of occasion, guests were treated to an indulgent array of culinary moments, from a caviar station, a chocolate fountain, and even a queso fountain- a whimsical surprise from the groom inspired by a childhood wish of the bride’s. It was a perfect example of how Events by Genevieve blends luxury with personality, ensuring every event feels deeply authentic.

The Events by Genevieve production team built a custom ceremony stage and the signage used and refined every visual element to perfection. Paired with a cascading floral cake by Cake and Crumble and echoed our floral design, candlelight, and a design that felt both grand and intimate, the celebration was a true masterclass in elegant storytelling.
